Question:    Do I have to be unable to perform any work to qualify for Total Disability benefits from the State if I am a fire-fighter injured in the line of duty?

Answer:    No; the statute defines Total Disability as unable to perform you prior job duties - essentially unable to work as a fire-fighter.
